Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mingi Education Private Limited ("Mingi", "we", "us") governing your use of the Mingi platform at mingi.in and associated mobile applications.

If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must read and accept these terms on your behalf.

• You must be at least 6 years old to use Mingi. Users under 18 require parental consent as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You must provide accurate information during registration.
• One account per person. You may not share your credentials with others.
• Mingi is intended for users in India. Access from other jurisdictions is at your own risk and may not comply with local laws.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately at legal@mingi.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You may not create accounts for others without their (or their guardian's) consent.
• We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.

Free Trial: All new accounts receive a 7-day free trial with 15 AI generations. No payment required to start.

Paid Plans:

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in Indian Rupees (INR) via Razorpay.
• Prices are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
• Your subscription auto-renews unless cancelled before the next billing date.
• Generation limits reset monthly on your billing anniversary.

Refunds: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on the first payment of any paid plan. After that, refunds are issued at our discretion for service failures. To request a refund, email legal@mingi.in within 7 days of the charge.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription anytime from Account → Billing. You retain access until the end of your paid billing period.

Mingi uses Google Gemini AI to generate educational content. Important limitations:

• AI-generated content (flashcards, exam papers, activities) is provided for educational assistance only and may contain errors.
• All AI outputs should be reviewed by a qualified teacher or parent before use in formal examinations or assessments.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or curriculum-alignment of any AI-generated content.
• You retain ownership of the content you input. By submitting inputs, you grant us a limited licence to process them to provide the service.
• Do not submit personal data, private information about others, or copyrighted material as inputs.

You agree not to:

• Use Mingi for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, subscription gates, or security controls
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the platform
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the service
• Submit content that is harmful, hateful, sexually explicit, or promotes violence — especially given our platform serves minors
• Share your account credentials or allow others to use your subscription
• Attempt to overload or disrupt our infrastructure (DoS/DDoS)

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination without refund.

All platform content, UI, branding, and underlying technology are owned by Mingi Education Private Limited and protected under Indian copyright law.

The Mingi name, logo, and "m" mark are trademarks of Mingi Education Private Limited. You may not use them without prior written consent.

AI-generated outputs produced using your inputs are provided to you for personal educational use. You may not resell or commercially distribute AI-generated outputs.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI outputs, or uninterrupted availability.

We do not warrant that Mingi will be error-free, that results obtained will be accurate, or that defects will be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Mingi's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, academic outcomes, or third-party claims arising from AI-generated content.

You may delete your account at any time from Account → Settings → Danger Zone. Upon deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

For disputes under ₹50 lakhs, we encourage resolution through the Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum before approaching a court.

We may update these Terms as our services evolve. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 15 days in advance. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
