Refund Policy

Mingi does not offer refunds on subscription payments. Instead, we provide a generous 30-day free trial so you can evaluate the platform before any charge is made, together with flexible cancellation at any time. This policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and aligned with common SaaS subscription practice in India and internationally.
1. Our approach — trial instead of refunds
We believe you should be able to experience Mingi fully before committing to a paid plan. Every new account receives a 30-day free trial with access to core features and a starter generation allowance. No credit card or payment method is required to begin your trial.
Because you can use Mingi at no cost for 30 days, we do not maintain a separate money-back or refund programme for subscription fees. Your trial period is our commitment to letting you make an informed decision before you pay.
2. No refund policy
Subject to applicable consumer protection law, the following applies to all paid subscriptions purchased through Mingi:
- All subscription fees are non-refundable, including partial-month or partial-year amounts, once a billing cycle has been charged.
- We do not provide refunds for unused generations, unused time remaining in a billing period, plan downgrades, or change-of-mind after purchase.
- Refunds are not issued for account suspension or termination resulting from a violation of our Terms of Service.
- Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may result in immediate account suspension pending investigation.
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or other mandatory law in India where such rights cannot be contracted away.
3. Cancellation — anytime, no future charges
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time from Account → Billing. When you cancel:
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period — you retain full paid access until that date.
- You will not be charged again after the current billing cycle ends.
- Your account will move to the applicable free tier (Basic) when the paid period expires, unless you resubscribe.
- Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current or any prior billing period.
To cancel, use the billing management options in your account or Request subscription cancellation from your registered email address. We will confirm cancellation in writing.
4. Free trial transition
- At the end of your 30-day free trial, if you have not subscribed, your account automatically moves to the Basic plan (free, 1 generation per month).
- You will only be charged if you actively choose to upgrade to a paid plan and complete payment through Razorpay.
- If you subscribe during or after your trial, the first charge occurs only upon successful payment authorisation — not before.
5. Billing errors & unauthorised charges
If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge, an incorrect amount, or a charge after you cancelled before the renewal date — Report a billing error promptly.
We will investigate genuine billing errors and, where confirmed, work with our payment partner (Razorpay) to reverse erroneous charges. This is distinct from a general refund policy and applies only to documented processing mistakes, not to standard subscription renewals you authorised.
6. Service interruptions
If Mingi experiences a prolonged service outage that materially prevents use of paid features for an extended period, we may, at our sole discretion, offer account credit or an extension of your subscription term. Such remedies are goodwill measures — not refunds — and do not create a precedent or ongoing obligation.
7. Payment processing
All payments are processed securely by Razorpay. Mingi does not store your full card or UPI credentials. Payment receipts and invoices are available from your billing history and via email where applicable.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 15 days before they take effect. The version published at mingi.in/refund-policy at the time of your purchase governs unless otherwise required by law.
