Answers to common questions about Mingi accounts, billing, and learning features. If you cannot find what you need, Contact support — we typically respond within one business day.
Getting started
- New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with full feature access and 15 AI generations — no payment required to start.
- Complete onboarding from your dashboard to set grade, curriculum, and link a parent account where required.
- After the trial, your account moves to the Basic plan (1 generation per month, free forever) unless you subscribe.
Billing & subscriptions
- View your current plan, usage, and payment history at Account → Billing.
- Paid plans (Starter, Pro) are billed in Indian Rupees (INR) via Razorpay. Prices shown are exclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before your next billing date.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from Billing. Your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period; you will not be charged again after that period ends.

Parent accounts
- Parents can view linked children from the Parent Dashboard after setting a Parent PIN in Account Settings.
- Parents can assign study tasks and track progress for linked student accounts.
- To link accounts, use the family-link flow from the student profile or contact us if you need manual assistance.
AI generations & limits
- Each plan includes a monthly generation allowance. Usage resets on your billing anniversary (or monthly for free/Basic users).
- Pro plan includes fair-use unlimited access (300 generations/month soft cap).
- If you hit your limit, upgrade your plan or wait until the next reset cycle.
Technical issues
- Payment failed? Check that your card or UPI method is active, then retry from Billing. If the issue persists, contact Payment support with your registered email and approximate payment time.
- Generation errors? Refresh the page and try again. Persistent failures may indicate a temporary AI service outage — contact us if it continues beyond 30 minutes.
- Login problems? Use password reset from the login page, or sign in with Google if your account was created that way.

Mingi is built for Indian students and complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP). We do not sell personal data or use children's data for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
